I researched when and were previous iphones have been released. Two years ago the iphone 3g was released as a surprise in the opening speech of the WWDC*. The other iphones were both released around the same time period except in different years. From this I conclude that if the iPhone 4g is actually going to come out, it will be at the WWDC, not on July 22 or whatever most other people think. *World Wide Developer Confrence
